Microsoft's first low-cost Windows 10 smartphone leaks
Microsoft has already teased consumers with the concept of high-end Windows 10 handsets - the much rumoured Lumia 950, for example - but a fresh leak suggests that the company won't be turning its back on the lower end of the Market. - a sector which has been very receptive to the company's cheap-and-cheerful smartphones in the past.
Details on the Lumia 550 have leaked online and suggest that it will ship with a 4.7-inch 720p display, 4G, a Snapdragon 210 processor, 8GB of expandable storage and 5-megapixel rear camera with a 2-megapixel front camera - and all for around $120 / £75 / Rs.7500.

While the specs might not challenge the best bargain Android phones out there, the pricing will certainly raise a few eyebrows - especially when you consider that many Android entry-level devices are packing less power for the same price. Of course, these specs should be taken with a pinch of salt, and may not be what Microsoft has in store - but there's not long to wait.
Microsoft is expected to reveal this handset - along with others - at its media event early next month. Stay tuned, as we'll be bringing you all the info as soon as it happens.
